The Racial Healing Workshops are the main process for creating community. Workshop participants come together to learn and practice communication skills so that they can interact across differences. We explore and challenge our beliefs about race and difference, and we build relationships across racial, religious, gender, and political identities.
The Workshops are offered online; they are free and open to the public. They are offered on Saturdays at 12:30 pm in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone in two-hour sessions. The Workshops are not recorded, and we are careful to ensure that there is a safe space for participants to share deeply during the Workshops. Click on the Contact Form to arrange for a conversation with Facilitator Paula Williams before coming to the Workshop.
In 2021 we held 30 Workshop Sessions! 130 people registered, and 114 attended at least one of the online sessions. We had people from 15 states in the US, Canada, the UK, South Africa, and New Zealand. We are especially grateful to the solid cohort who were there for nearly all the sessions. 16 sessions have been held through April 2022!
